**Introduction **
Welcome to Mortad, an application that connects customers with car rental offices in Sultanate of Oman. By using our App, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Services Provided
The App acts solely as a facilitator, connecting Users with Providers. The App does not own, operate, or manage any vehicles or rental offices. All rental agreements and services are solely between the User and the Provider.
User Responsibilities
• Users must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. • Users must meet the eligibility requirements set by the Provider, such as age, valid driver’s license, and payment methods. • Users agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the Provider, including any rental agreements. • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account details and any activity conducted through it.
Provider Responsibilities
• Providers are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information about their services listed on the App. • Providers are responsible for maintaining and ensuring the safety and quality of their vehicles. • Providers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding car rentals.
Payment and Fees
• Payment terms and amounts vary by rental office. • The app enables online payment for bookings. • Users are responsible for additional fees, including fuel, insurance, or damages, as specified in the rental agreement.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
• Customers can cancel rental requests before or after approval by the rental office. • If a user cancels after payment (partial or full), the cancellation will be verified with the concerned office, and the amount will be refunded in full within seven business days.
Limitations of Liability
• The App is not responsible for any issues arising from the rental agreement between the User and the Provider, including but not limited to accidents, damages, delays, cancellations, or disputes. • The App does not guarantee the availability, quality, or suitability of vehicles offered by Providers. • Users and Providers release the App from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from their interactions. • The App is not involved in resolving disputes between Users and Providers and will not mediate or intervene in any conflicts.
Prohibited Activities Users and Providers agree not to:
• Use the App for illegal purposes. • Misrepresent information or engage in fraudulent activities. • Interfere with the App’s operations or attempt to access its systems unlawfully.
Termination of Service
The app reserves the right to terminate user accounts or restrict access in cases of violation of these terms.
